Proof of service is also required when receiving our public service discount
WHAT IS PARK MAMMOTH RESORT?
Park Mammoth Resort sits on 2,000 acres of mostly wooded land. It is home to a golf course, a winery, a shooting range, and a guest lodge with a restaurant. It's located just 10 miles away from Mammoth Cave National Park, the worlds largest cave system. Park Mammoth will be offering a special rate to any participants who would like to rent a room and stay overnight the weekend of the run. Call Park Mammoth at 270-749-4101 and make your registration today! Be sure you mention that you are participating in the Muddy Mammoth Run and wish to receive the discounted rate.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE?
You should arrive at least 45 minutes to an hour before your scheduled run. All participants will need to check in and show ID before you will be permitted to run.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I CHECK IN?
When you check in, you will need to give us your signed waiver and you will receive your race bib. You will need to show your photo ID in order to receive your complementary beer voucher. Members who will be receiving our service discount will need to bring an additional proof of service upon check in.
WHERE DO I NEED TO PARK?
Parking will not cost any extra money. Signs will be posted at Park Mammoth Resort directing you to the parking area. BE GREEN - carpool if possible.
WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER PARTICIPATED IN A MUD RUN?
There is a first time for everything! Everyone (ages 14+) is welcome, regardless of experience.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
The show must go on! The Muddy Mammoth will take place on April 29, 2017 rain or shine. Besides, a little rain never hurt anybody... It just means you will get even MUDDIER. However, in the event of extreme inclement weather, changes would be made the day of the event and participants would be notified. WILL REFUNDS BE GIVEN?
No refunds will be available. All of the Muddy Mammoth profits will be going directly to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life to help fund the search in finding a cure for cancer.
WHAT WILL I GET FOR PARTICIPATING?
All participants will receive a 2017 Muddy Mammoth T-Shirt. A celebratory beer will be given to all eligible participants (21+); a celebratory non-alcoholic beverage will be given to all underage participants.
WHERE/WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THESE ITEMS?
When you arrive at Park Mammoth Resort, you will need to immediately make your way to the Check-In/Registration area. This is where you will show your ID, turn in your waiver, receive your race bib, your T-Shirt and beer voucher. You will use the beer voucher to obtain your beer after you run.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
NO CHILD SHOULD BE LEFT UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME. That said, you can certainly bring your child/children if you have another adult that will be staying with the child while you run. We will not provide daycare service nor will we babysit your child. If you are seen leaving your child unattended, you will be asked to leave the premises.
WHAT IS RELAY FOR LIFE?
Relay for Life is an all night event to celebrate cancer survivors, remember those we have lost to cancer and fight back against this dreadful disease. It is the largest fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. These funds are used to find new treatments for cancer and to further the research to find a cure to cancer. Warren County Relay For Life is Friday, June 2nd at Bowling Green High School. Come out and bring the family for a night of fun - Opening ceremony is at 7:00 PM CST.
WHAT IF I WANT TO RE-RUN THE MUDDY MAMMOTH?
Anyone can re-run the Muddy Mammoth for $10.00. You will not receive another event T-Shirt, nor will you receive another celebratory beer. Re-runs can be purchased at the registration table on the day of the event.
